I Like! With Exception of Shamrock and Socks They Look Identical

to my old High School’s uniforms…

But really, I do like them a lot, and the shammy is SHARP! They should consider going to those – maybe not full time but at least twice a season – and ND will see even more $$$ donations from Irish Americans (and Irish everywhere!!).

I think they look great. Unless you were going to go with the Faust royal blues, theres not much to make them drastically different from what we’ve always worn.

The high green shoulder stripes and the green numbers look awesome.

I like how they're a composite of different uniforms

The shamrock from one era, the white socks and cleats from another and the jerseys with numbers from another. I think the shamrock is the only thing you could say you hated (although I happen to think it looks great), because the actual jersey is just a different shade of green, some stripes and the old school adidas logo.

Actually if they put the shamrock on one side that would be much cooler. But the gold Helmet doesn’t need anything… Of course the shitty paint they have been putting on the helmet the last few years (or the plastic isn’t taking the paint as well) pretty much is all gone by half time so whatever.

There's a very good reason the paint is not sticking as well as it used to

The people who supply the student managers with their equipment have decided to use a silicone based lubricant in the paint guns. My father owns an autobody shop, so I’ve been around paint my entire life. It doesn’t react well with silicone. The silicone cause a chemical change in the paint that removes a lot of it’s ability to bond to the surface material. Autobody shops go to great lengths to make sure there is no silicone present when they are painting. I’ve actually raised this issue with the Senior student managers on more than one occasion and they either don’t care, or did not have the authority to make a change.

Logo on the Pants

I like them. Look good, except for one thing, which I hope – and expect – will change before game time. I hate that the adidas logo is on the pants but the ND logo is not.

I’m pretty sure that Kuharich’s teams didn’t have an adidas logo on the pants, so it’s not a throwback thing. It always irks me when the adidas logo is presented as equal to the ND logo. This is ND merchandise made by adidas, not ND & adidas partnership merchandise. Even worse if there is only the adidas logo with no ND.

But still, I like these for a one-time thing.

I really like the unis

I like the green numbers and the shoulder stripes. I don’t love the helmets, but I’m fine with them as a one-time thing. I;m sure I’ll like them a lot more if the Irish win.

AWESOME

The only thing I don’t like about the uni’s these days is that there is are no more surprises. Come out and warm up in the regular uniforms and then switch. Now that’s how it’s done.

The last time they wore white jersey’s with green numbers was infamous Cheerios game against Florida in the Sugar Bowl. We all know how that turned out. I love them. The shamrock is awesome.

I'm pretty excited about these.

I’m not crazy about the shamrock on the helmet, but it’s not a huge deal (plus we did actually do that in the past). The green numbers on the white jerseys are fantastic. I’ve always hoped that they would use that scheme again, whether for a big away game or a bowl.
Also glad to see NDnation have a collective aneurysm over them.

I would like them more if they were a more authentic throwback rather than a collection of different unis through the years. If you’re going to do a throwback, then do a throwback and not some kind of mishmash.
